The European market for animal fats was mostly steady in the week to Thursday July 4, with trade sources indicated that buyers and sellers were well covered for nearby positions and were waiting before committing to further trades.

Used cooking oil (UCO) prices were steady into the Amsterdam-Rotterdam-Antwerp (ARA) market, with South America-origin UCO reported at $985 per tonne CIF, along with reports of optional-origin material traded within the reported price range.
