The US animal protein market was quiet on Thursday July 18, with no price changes reported.

Fastmarkets’ assessment for porcine bloodmeal, fob IA/MO/NE averaged $1,050 per short ton on Thursday July 18. If values remain flat tomorrow, the weekly average for the week to July 19 will be $1,030 per short ton. This is down by $283 per short ton, or 22.52%, from the weekly average of $1,313 per short ton in the week to July 21, 2023.
