Organic soybean trade flows remain fluid, with shifts to the key players since 2020. Argentina’s organic soybean exports over the three-year period between 2020-2023 were double those of the next most prolific exporter of organic soybeans to the US: Russia.

Peaking in 2022, Argentina’s organic soybean exports were undermined by drought in subsequent years, as well as growing competition in global markets. Ghana has replaced Argentina as the highest volume exporter for US organic soy imports.
