Most grain prices on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange fell on Tuesday August 6. The November soybean futures contract decreased by 14 cents per bushel to settle at $10.26 per bu, while September wheat increased by 3.75 cents per bu to close at $5.43 per bu.
Meanwhile, September soybean meal fell by $8.10 per short ton to $330.60 per ton, and September corn dropped by 2 cents per bu to $3.88 per bu.
Corn gluten meal prices showed a modest rise in the Midwest barge market, while corn gluten feed prices were steady across all regions on Tuesday. Market participants noted that the market has been relatively quiet, with one report indicating a slight increase for meal.
