International animal proteins, September 12, 2024

Prices in the international animal proteins market were mostly flat in the week to Thursday September 12, but there were significant increases in meat and bonemeal prices in New Zealand, Australia, China and Indonesia.

Fastmarkets assessed the price of meat and bonemeal, 50 Pro, delivered Australia at A$515-590 ($345-395) per tonne on Thursday, up from A$500-580 per tonne on September 5. Prices as high as A$600 per tonne were reported but could not be confirmed by the time of publication.

Fastmarkets assessed meat and bonemeal, bovine, export China at $465-500 per tonne on Thursday, widening upward from $465-480 per tonne on September 5.

Fastmarkets assessed meat and bonemeal, bovine, export Indonesia at $500-520 per tonne on Thursday, up from $490-510 per tonne on September 5.
