Prices were rangebound for most items on the US animal proteins market on Tuesday September 17. The exceptions were bloodmeal in the Missouri River, Texas Panhandle and Indiana markets, as well as chicken meal, which were all under price pressure.
Fastmarkets assessed bloodmeal, porcine, Mo. River at $925-1,020 per short ton on Tuesday, down from $950-1,065 per ton on Monday September 16.
Fastmarkets assessed bloodmeal, porcine, Indiana at $1,080-1,180 per short ton on Tuesday, down from $1,150-1,225 per ton on Monday.
Fastmarkets assessed bloodmeal, ruminant, Mo. River at $900-975 per short ton on Tuesday, down from $950-1,000 per ton on Monday.
Fastmarkets assessed bloodmeal, ruminant, Tx. Panhandle at $900-1,000 per short ton on Tuesday, down from $925-1,045 per ton on Monday. Limited trade was reported at prices below the assessment.
