BOHO spread reaches two-month high

The BOHO spread rose sharply on Friday September 20 to its highest since late July, as October soybean oil futures on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange traded higher and ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) futures weakened.

Prices for renewable identification numbers (RINs) moved higher a day after data from the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) showed lower generation under the Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) for the month of August.

D6 RINs were up by nearly 2 cents per RIN on the day at 60.75 cents per RIN and were at parity to the D4 price.
