US corn, soybean futures slip amid seasonal harvest pressure

Most grain prices on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange fell on Friday September 20. The November soybean futures contract decreased by 1.25 cents per bu to settle at $10.12 per bu, while December wheat increased by 3 cents per bu to close at $5.68 per bu.

Meanwhile, October soybean meal fell by $2.50 per short ton to $317.40 per ton, and December corn dropped by 4 cents per bu to $4.01 per bu.

Corn and soybean futures faced losses following a round of technical selling, influenced by seasonal harvest pressure, while wheat prices captured minor gains, supported by dry conditions in Argentina and Europe.
