International animal proteins mixed for week to October 17

Prices in the international animal proteins market were mixed in the week to Thursday October 17.

Fastmarkets assessed the price of meat and bonemeal, 50 pro, delivered Australia at A$550-640 ($369-429) per tonne on Thursday, widening upward from A$550-610 per tonne on October 10. Steady-to-active demand in domestic and export markets paired with steady production levels for the month of October has increased some prices, market sources told Fastmarkets.
