September US dog and cat food export
The US Census Bureau’s dog and cat food exports report, released on November 5, indicated that September dog and cat food exports were valued at $213.98 million, down by $20.48 million, or 8.7%, from August.
The year-to-date value in September was $1.92 billion, up by 5.38%, or $97.96 million, from the corresponding time in 2023.
The year-to-date volume of dog and cat food exports for the first nine months of 2024 was 649,882 tonnes, 4.06% above the corresponding period of 2023, due to higher exports in five out of the nine months.
