Organic soybean import volume from Argentina soars

Organic soybean imports from Argentina have accelerated considerably. Organic soybeans originating from Argentine ports over the final 3 months of the 2023-2024 marketing year were at 96,549 tonnes, exceeding the previous year’s entire import volume.

The increased imports follow a significant decline in Argentine organic soybean exports after severe drought halved yields in 2022/23.
