The US animal fats and oils markets were unchanged on Tuesday December 31, as market activity remained muted amid the New Year’s holiday.

Prices for choice white grease (CWG) were assessed stable on the day at 35-38 cents per lb, FOB Missouri River. The only trades observed on Tuesday were at the higher end of the assessed range, though bids were reported 2-3 cents per lb below the published range.
