US corn, soybean forecasts unchanged in latest USDA WASDE

The USDA’s February release of the World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates report on Tuesday February 11 included updated wheat projections.

The US corn forecast for 2024/25 was unchanged from the previous month.

US wheat estimates for 2024/25 indicate a slight increase in domestic use, resulting in lower ending stocks.

US soybean projections for 2024/25 remain unchanged this month.

Corn
The USDA projected the season-average corn price for producers at $4.35 per bu, up by 10 cents per bu from the previous month’s estimate.

Soybeans
The USDA projected the season-average soybean price received by producers at $10.10 per bu, down by 10 cents per bu from last month.

Meanwhile, the soybean meal price was at $310 per short ton and soybean oil prices were at 43 cents per lb, unchanged from a month prior.
