Mid-South, Southeast PBP pet food ranges narrow upward

Light trade volume was reported for US animal proteins on Tuesday February 18.

Most prices traded within the previously set ranges with the exception of poultry-related products.

Fastmarkets’ assessment for poultry by-product meal, pet food, Mid-South was $550-600 per ton on Tuesday, narrowing upward from $500-600 per ton on Friday, due to tighter inventory levels, according to market sources.

Fastmarkets’ assessment for poultry by-product meal, pet food, Southeast was $525-575 per ton on Tuesday, narrowing upward from $475-575 per ton on Friday. Prices as low as $475 per ton were reported but could not be confirmed in large volume at the time of publication.
