European feedstock prices were mixed in the week to Thursday February 20, with used cooking oil (UCO) prices broadly stable, while some higher-quality animal fats softened and lower-grade animal fats increased on consistent demand.
Sources indicated ideas for Category 3 edible-grade beef tallow and pork lard in the range of €1,100-1,130 ($1,154-1,185) per tonne in North-West Europe (NWE), while prices for mixed fat with 15% free fatty acids (FFA) were reported at €970-980 per tonne DDP NWE.
Buying interest for European UCO was heard in the range of €1,180-1,195 per tonne DDP during the week, up slightly from last week, with trading reported at the same levels.
The CIF Amsterdam, Rotterdam, Antwerp (ARA) market was mostly unchanged, with trading reported at $1,110 per tonne for UCO delivered in ISO-tanks.
Other selling interest included $1,110-1,180 per tonne CIF ARA, depending on delivery terms and origins.
