Organic soybean meal prices are softening ahead of the harvest. Prices in Indian have traded as low as $600 per metric ton FOB India with offers near the $620 level. That puts prices in Baltimore near $650 per short ton before customs clearing and transloading.  Prices delivered into Chicago are offered near $800 per metric ton before transloading. Imported Organic soybean prices are hovering near the $21.20 level in PA, region.

Organic Egg Sales Continue to Rise

Organic egg sales continue to remain buoyed in June according to The Jacobsen. Sales in the US rose 28% year over year for June compared to the same period in 2019. For the 4-months ending June 2020, organic egg sales are higher by 31% year over year, as the impact of COVID is helping to generate tailwinds for grocery store sales.
