The renderer and packer BFT markets were unquoted today due to a lack of trading. End user demand appears to be tepid for the nearby Chicago rail market, but high temps are pushing ffa levels out of spec and causing some short positions in the market. Feed and truck demand should start to pick up given the increases in the choice white grease market.
Choice white grease trading moved higher today out of the Missouri River market. Again, high temps are pushing ffa levels higher and knocking material out of spec around the country and limiting supply. Demand for choice white in the Mo. River market has been stronger from the bio sector again this week and feed buyers have had to pay up to remain competitive.
