Non-GMO Milk Sales Continue to Trend Higher

Non-GMO milk sales have benefited from the strong rise in grocery store demand and continue to trend higher. For the 6-months ending June 2020, non-GMO milk sales transacted at supper markets and big box stores increased 23% year over year compared to the same period in 2019. For the 4-months ending June 2020 (which is the period that encapsulated the spread of COVID throughout the United States), non-GMO milk sales have climbed 31% year over year compared to the same period in 2020. The Jacobsen predicts that the trend will continue to rise at a less pronounced based during the balance of 2020, rising approximately 20% year over year.
