Organic Hemp Seed Grain Prices Continue to Trend Lower

 

Organic hemp seed grain prices have continued to trend lower and have had a difficult time gaining traction. One of the issues is that Organic hemp seed grain is not commercially legal to use in organic feed, and therefore the meal cannot be used in feed. Organic hemp seed grain is generally grown in the region where it will compete directly with organic sunflower meal which is the northern plains. Organic hemp seed grain prices have declined from close to 1.20 per pound down 6% over the past 6-months declined to 1.12 per pound.
