Distiller’s corn oil (DCO) prices moved higher again today as well sold sellers continue to see strong demand from the spot market. Soybean oil prices traded 2.5 cents lower over the last three days, but with the October market over 32.5 cents per pound, DCO is expected to continue to see support at current price levels. The EIA released ethanol production estimates for week ending September 16^th today. The estimated daily production of 906,000 barrels per day is the lowest since the week ending June 26 of this year and down 2.2 percent from the week prior.
