Neste Advances Position in SAF

Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF) is poised to make an impact in coming years. While mandates for SAF are not in place within the US renewable fuel framework specifically for renewable jet fuel, the US Renewable Fuel Standard (RFS) does account for it under the biomass-based diesel category and California does allow it as an opt-in fuel in their LCFS program.  2.4 million gallons were consumed within the RFS in 2019.  1.9 million were reflected within California’s LCFS program.
