The National Oilseed Processors Association (NOPA) reported the US soybean crush reached a 12-month low in September, falling 2.2 percent from August while soybean oil stocks narrowed 5.7 percent, reaching an 11-month low. The September crush was fractionally below analyst expectations of 161.491 million bushels and soybean stocks were 1.5 percent over analyst estimates.
NOPA members crushed 161.491 million bushels of soybeans in September, down from 165.055 million in August but 5.9 percent over the 152.566 crushed during September of 2019.
