Choice white grease traded higher out of the Missouri River today. A wide spread to BFT, tight fat supplies in the East and coverage through the holiday break have all contributed to the move higher this week. Through the first two and a half weeks of the month, choice white grease FOB Missouri River has a relative price of 348 percent to nearby corn. The prior three year average for November is 323 percent, which suggests that prices are at risk for a downturn, but strong nearby demand and an overall tightness in the animal fats and vegetable oil markets are supportive of steady to higher prices in…
