13.2 Million 480lb Bales of Cotton Harvested

Cotton: 

  • 77 percent harvested

The harvest is 77 percent complete, up eight points from last week and six points over the five-year average. The USDA expects production to reach 17.1 million 480-pound bales of cotton.  With 77 percent of the harvest complete, 13.2 million 480-pound bales have been harvested with 3.9 million remaining.  The harvest is six points over the historical average of 71 percent despite 10 of 18 reporting states trailing their normal harvest pace.  Texas is 74 percent complete…
