Difficulty in getting material delivered to the feed mills has driven the market in Indonesia to a high of US$700 CIF this week. Sellers moving material from nearby markets are capturing a big premium versus US sellers, who are contending with similar shipping issues, i.e. container shortages and congested ports. Offers are out as high as US$735 into Indonesia, at present levels buyers are reformulating.

The Australian market was quiet this week with steady trading reported. Holiday production interruptions are expected to keep supply very tight heading into 2021 and favorable pasturing conditions could delay the production increases in January.
