Weekly Recap – Wheat Midd Vaules Seen Stable
For the week ending December 18, soybean futures posted strong gains for the two front month contracts. The January and March Futures both climbed five percent in value for the week. The January contract moved higher for the first time in three weeks but erased the prior two weeks of decline, closing the week at 12.20 per bushel. Argentine grain inspectors and oilseed workers continue their strike which effects a key export hub that handles about 80 percent of the country’s agricultural exports.
