Ruminant and porcine blood meal prices have traded sideways this week. The volatility in the soybean meal market has both buyers and sellers proceeding cautiously. Through nearly the first half of the month, ruminant blood meal out of the Missouri River market has averaged 242 percent of the price of nearby soybean meal, a touch above the prior three year and right in line with the prior five year average.
