Renewable Diesel Imports set Record Highs

** Notice** The Jacobsen will discontinue reporting various price points beginning in March 2021. Regional biodiesel reporting as well as The Jacobsen B100 Index will be removed in favor of additional biodiesel and renewable diesel price points. Renewable Diesel (cents/gal) California LA will be eliminated along with Biodiesel LA CA dlvd ($/MT). International reporting will be adjusted to better reflect both the Renewable Diesel and Biodiesel Market.

 

Renewable Diesel Imports at Record Level for Month and Year

According to the Energy Information Agency (EIA), the United States imported 52.4 million gallons of biomass-based diesel (D4) during December. Imports were 14 percent over November and 12 percent above December 2019.
