Choice white grease prices traded higher again today out of the Indiana and Missouri River markets. Strong demand from the biodiesel industry is driving the top side of the market. Higher heating oil prices and increased RIN values have raised the ceiling on feedstock prices.

Distiller’s corn oil prices had another round of increases today with trading done as high as 50 cents per pound in the forward market. The EIA estimated ethanol production for last week at 849,000 barrels per day. The Jacobsen is estimating DCO production at 8.06 million pounds per day, down 18.5 percent from the prior three year average and down 19.5 percent from last year.
