Biodiesel margins rise, but window of opportunity limited
Biodiesel margins continued to rise during the week to Friday November 22. The bean oil/heating oil (BOHO) spread boosted margins by falling to its lowest level since August 27.
Prices of crude glycerin cargoes going to China Main Ports (CMP) could be moving higher. Brokers are indicating that values may have climbed $75 per tonne over the past week, lending support for domestic pricing heading into the export market in the US. One market evaluator called the glycerin complex a bit undetermined and looking for additional clarity.
