Global Protein Prices Trade Lower

Bovine meat and bone meal (MBM) trading was lower into Indonesia. Buyers continue to see plentiful offers out of the US at the lower end of the range and sellers outside of the US aren’t seeing quick ship premiums. Most of the demand out of the market is for post-Ramadan arrival with pre-holiday needs well covered.

Australian meat and bone meal prices were lower for export and domestic trading. Lower prices into the importing countries has pressured the local market, despite tight production. Slaughter was again estimated below 100,000 head last week. Flooding has forced the closure of JBS Dinmore and the long holiday weekend is expected to further tighten production….
