Ethanol Production Outpaces Gasoline Demand Lifting Grain supply 

Weekly ethanol production and stock levels again exceeded analyst expectations in this week’s Weekly Petroleum Status Report.  Ethanol output increased 33 thousand barrels to a 1.067 million-barrel-per-day average during the week ending June 4, 2021 and is at its highest level since the week ending February 28, 2020.  The increase in ethanol production moved beyond analysts’ forecast that expected output to land within the 1.029-to-1.047-million-barrel range. The average analyst estimate was 1.038 million barrels. Weekly ethanol output was 3.2 percent above last week and 27 percent over levels seen at this time last year. DDGS output climbed to 3,517 metric tons per day from last week and was 21,875 MT’s per day over production from a year…
