Steady Pricing for Most Proteins

Steady Pricing for Most Proteins

There was limited activity in the shortened week following the July 4th holiday. Most items continued to show a generally flat call for the week with feathermeal witnessing some wider ranges for Missouri River FOB. The weekly averages did show an overall change with meat and bonemeal, both ruminant and porcine, witnessing an average weekly increase of 1 and 1.4 percent, respectively. Porcine bloodmeal continued to show limited offerings in the market, holding a steady call for the week but a 2.1 percent growth on the weekly average. Feathermeal saw some enlarged ranges with continued soybean meal volatility as well as reports of strong demand, increasing by $10/ST week-over-week.
