Organic soybea prices are trading at historically high levels, with approximately 6-weeks before the expected decision date. Merchandisers tell The Jacobsen that consumer are unwilling to lock in prices at these levels and would rather wait and see if there is a dip in prices. The Jacobsen has not seen any information in writing that shows exactly when the Commerce Department in the United States will make a decision. The original document posted by the International Trade Administration still shows the original date that the Department of Commerce announced the initiation of antidumping duty (AD) and countervailing duty (CVD) investigations of organic soybean meal from India.
