First Day of Speakers Demystify Many Issues

A slate of heavy hitting speakers, including Sandra Dunphy, Mike McAdams, Gene Gebolys, and Cheryl Laskowski, relayed information most in attendance were eager to take in.  Sandra, a Director at Weaver, was the first to push back on market expectations that RVO volumes were going to fall sharply.  She explained why it could be a much smaller adjustment due to cellulosic volumes not meeting 2020 expectations.  Mike McAdams later sounded the same thoughts as he explained the long-term future of renewable diesel. 

A well-educated audience tested some of the speakers with their knowledge with compelling questions.  The day ended with Fred Ghatala providing much needed insight into both the provincial and federal programs in Canada, while Greg Staiti, also with Weaver, spelled out the future progression for LCFS programs.  Gregg spent time on the “Known Unknowns”, which would be the…
