Ruminant MBM prices fell today out of the Missouri River and Illinois renderer markets and into the East. Sellers have suggested that export difficulties continue to weigh on the market due to port closures in Asia and added rail difficulties due to Hurricane Ida this week. The spread between ruminant MBM and porcine MBM FOB Mo. River is $55 today, $24 over the prior three year average September and $38 over the prior three year average for October.
