Quiet Tones due to Light for a Second Day

Quiet Tones due to Light for a Second Day

With the AFOA Conference underway, a quiet tone was reported from most contacts and light, if any, trade was noted. Pricing remained rangebound for the day due to the limited movement on the market.

Distiller’s corn oil (DCO) remains well above prior year pricing, with a 100 percent increase over the 3-year average becoming the 2021 norm. Currently, monthly pricing for October is at ¢59.06/TON, a 147 percent increase over the 3-year average or ¢35/TON. Diminished pricing was witnessed in the prior month of September, but a monthly gain of 10 percent was noted.
