Renewable Energy Group Looking at Other Expansion Projects

Shortly after brreaking ground on its renewable diesel expansion project at its Geismar site in Louisiana, Renewable Energy Group (REG) is considering several strategic locations for additional renewable diesel projects in the U.S and possibly beyond.

“We are always looking for what the next really advantaged opportunity is for growth. And we are looking for that in the area of manufacturing and production, but we couple that with feed and downstream,” REG President and CEO Cynthia Warner said during the company’s November 3 third-quarter earnings call. “So we’re sort of looking at it on an across the board value chain standpoint.
