Renderer BFT was offered lower again today, but untraded as of press time. Packer BFT was quiet, but sources indicated that there is still plenty of material offered at 57 Chicago. Five cars of tech tallow traded today at 64 cents per pound Chicago basis, with four of the five cars outside of the 30-day window. Edible tallow was sharply lower from the last traded level, but still well above tech tallow. Sources have suggested that edible fat supplies, both lard and tallow, remain tight.

Yellow grease prices were lower again out of a number of regions on light trading. Bids were well below the printed range on yellow grease. Used cooking oil bids were reported well below the current market as well, but delivered values on significant volume below 60 cents per pound have not been confirmed.
