The elevated price of conventional corn in Ukrain has likely drawn organic producers to sell into the conventional market. Organic barley has seen bids ease slightly, slipping to approximately €300 per metric ton.
Organic wheat is hard to find both in the U.S. and Europe. Merchandisers tell Fastmarkets/The Jacobsen that U.S. feed mills are adding organic corn to the rations to replace wheat. This situation has yet to be the case across the pond. Organic soybean meal prices remain elevated in Europe.
