The Jacobsen/Fastmarkets Biofuel and Feedstock Conference

The first day of the two-day conference provided a strong speaking platform. The session opened with a dive into US policy and incentives by Scott Gerlt of the American Soybean Association, followed by an update on the RFS by John Reese of Weaver. The California Air Resources Board’s Branch manager, Cheryl Laskowski, provided an update on the LCFS while Patrick Lynch explained blockchain technology and UCO Traceability.

The afternoon session, just getting underway will provide and oil market update, by Alex Hodes; a RINs, LCFS and Credit outlook provided by Paul Niznik from EconEngineers; and a panel discussion on Energy transition with Mike McAdams, John Cusick, Paul Winters, and Trent Weatherly.
