Summer Friday Publication Hours in Effect This Friday— Trade Reporting Deadline 11 p.m. CST

The Jacobsen will be implementing summer Friday publication hours this week (Friday, May 26) through the Friday September 1st. The deadline for trade reporting will be at 11 p.m. CST with publication of the Animal Proteins bulletin soon after.

**No Bulletin/Price Guide Published on Monday, May 29 in observance of the Memorial Day holiday.**

Limited trade was reported for the day with most indicating wide ranging values for animal proteins at mid-week. Unsettledness has been noted for most items ahead of the holiday week, with some mixed tones and more out front trades.

For week ending May 27th, 2023, broiler slaughter is anticipated to be 170.904 million head, 1.4 percent over 2022 and 2.1 percent up from the previous week. Over the next six weeks, broiler slaughter is projected to average 166.824…
