Market Update

Reports of continued downward pressure on DDGs surfaced, with demand reported as sluggish and weak. Further, sources indicate that this may persist throughout the summer. The price remains at a low of $190/st in Iowa and other parts of the Midwest, including Minnesota/Dakotas, Indiana, Michigan, and Ohio.

CME grain pricing was mixed. In the Midwest, weather conditions may have a potential impact on recently seeded corn crops, decreasing by $0.1150 to $5.97/st. Soybeans decreased $0.0250 to $13.50/st, while soymeal rose by $3.40 to $401.20/st and wheat rose by $0.0500 to $6.240/st.
