Turkish Organic Exports Reflect Varied Transshipments

Organic soybean exports from Turkey have demonstrated little consistency over the past five-year period.  Turkish ports have historically been advantageous transshipment locations for organic soybeans from the Black Sea Region.

This limits the usefulness of trading partner data published for Ukraine and the Russian Federation.  Their ability to export meaningful volumes of organic corn or beans is severely limited though as war rages on in key farming areas.  Now that mines are floating down the Dnipro, following apparent Russian sabotage, farming activities in Southeastern Ukraine will be further limited.
