International animal proteins were steady to lower for the week, depending on item and region. Bloodmeal and feathermeal were rangebound, while bovine meat and bonemeal was lower on pushback in most regions. Higher slaughter levels for cattle in Australia continued to weigh on domestic and export values as increased offerings linger.
China and Indonesia also had lower values on meat and bonemeal, with Indo as low as $650/mt for the week. Ovine meat and bonemeal was also weaker on the Au domestic front, with a new range of $1170-1200/mt. Poultry-by pet grade values were unsettled, most likely due to adjustments in global export volume and suppliers. The Australian domestic market was flat for the week, while the export delivered price was lower by $130/mt for the week.
