U.S. Weekly Corn and Wheat Sales Plunge

Weekly Market Update

Grain and feed items continue to decline in price today, though not drastically. Corn futures had taken a dive overnight in response to a forecast of possible rain in the Midwest. As the summer months and peak reproduction of corn and soybean crops inch closer, the market will remain extremely responsive to any weather changes. The weekly averages of DDGs had varying levels, yet DDGs began to fall, with a decrease seen in the MN/Dakotas market, down 1.5 percent and Illinois steady.
