U.S. Weekly Ethanol Production Remains Flat WOW

Market Update

Wheat midds were weaker for both Minesotta and Kansas City for the day due to pre-holiday volatility. However, as the holiday weekend approaches, wheat midds are expected to thin and are anticipated to be tighter into the summer session.

DDGs were lower for the day in several regions, facing the combined pressures of a slumping corn market, reduced demand associated with the holiday period, and an overall lack of demand both domestically and export wise. Plants are geared to run hard, leading buyers to stay hand-to-mouth, however, they are still looking at crop conditions and purchasing corn today, though they are not committing to anything long-term.
