Persistent Drought Menaces Midwestern Organic Crops

Weather challenges have made the 2023 cropping season difficult for organic growers in parts of the Midwest and Southern Plains.  In recent weeks, parched areas of the Ohio River Valley and upper Midwest received critical rain for their crops.
