U.S. Ethanol Stocks Dip as Demand Rebounds Post-Holiday

Market Update

Wheat midds were weaker in both Kansas City and Buffalo due to post-holiday volatility. Even though sources indicated central states experiencing robust demand, farm mills operating normally, and relatively tight markets; unsettled tones pressured central states further. However, the Northeast region had very weak demand, as farm mills are starting to pick up some run times.

CME grain pricing showed a downward trend today, apart from corn which increased to $4.99/st after a $0.1375 jump. Soybean prices decreased, reaching $14.48/st after falling $0.2050. Soybean meal decreased by $1.90, down to $408.20/st, Furthermore, wheat dropped by $0.1625 to $6.58/st.
