Recent Rainfall Provides Essential Boost to Crop Conditions

CME grain prices experienced a positive shift across the board. Even with an unexpected quality improvement from the USDA yesterday, corn still climbed to $4.94/st, up by $0.0225. Soybeans made the biggest gains of the day, driven by speculation of reduced production; it moved up by $0.1600 to $14.71/st. Soymeal saw a surge of $10.40 to reach $416.20/st, while wheat had a moderate rise of $0.1425, bringing its total to $6.60/st.
